BOOKING CONDITIONS:
Parking Compare Limited, trading as YourKey, is acting as an agent for the individual local airport car parking suppliers which offer car parking on the basis described below.
Parking Contract:
Parking Compare is an agent for the car parking supplier. Your car parking contract is made with the car parking supplier concerned, on its terms and conditions. Each car parking supplier will generally accept responsibility for its own negligence and will maintain an insurance policy accordingly. It will not accept responsibility for the acts of any third party and neither will it accept responsibility for your car or anything in it, which is covered by any other insurance policy. Each car parking supplier's terms and conditions are exhibited at each car park or are available on request.
Car Parking suppliers will disclaim any liability if you do not notify them of any loss or damage to your vehicle before you leave the car park or airport.
Local car parking suppliers do not accept liability for the following:
- Loose items or articles not otherwise permanently affixed to the vehicle.
- Damage to windscreen, windows or tyres.
- Mechanical or electrical defects to the vehicle, as these can arise at any time.
- Hire charges or hotel charges, however so incurred.
- Personal possessions left in the vehicle.
- Valuables left in the vehicle.
Car parking suppliers may require you to use alternative car parks to the ones indicated, particularly at peak periods.
It is important that you keep your car parking voucher safe whilst on holiday. Local car parking suppliers have a lien for all charges due and will only release your car on production of this receipt or payment of the appropriate amout.
Parking Compare from time to time will use our business partner Park & Go for parking bookings and these terms and conditions will remain the same for those bookings..
HOW TO BOOK:
Book online at www.Parking-Compare.com. You must notify Parking Compare of any change in your holiday or flight details once you have made the booking.
It is the customers responsibility to read the terms and conditions after a booking has been made.
For all bookings, It is the customers responsibility to check all the details of a booking are correct before the booking date starts. Parking Compare cannot accept responsibility for any incurred costs resulting from incorrect booking details.
CAR PARKING/MEET & GREET REQUIREMENTS:
All our customers will be issued with a booking reference number and car parking voucher from Parking Compare, before departure from the UK. This is a pre-paid voucher and must be presented to the car parking supplier, at the time of delivery of your vehicle, unless otherwise instructed.:
It is the customer's responsibility to obtain this voucher either at the end of the booking process via the view / print button, or via the link in the confirmation email sent to you, or from the contact page on the website.
It is the customer's responsibility to provide a valid email address and mobile contact number on the booking form when making the booking.
Parking Compare Limited will not accept liability for any unused parking, missed flights, extra parking costs or other problems arising from the customer's failure to obtain the voucher and follow the instructions within.
Customers must ensure their vehicle is in a road worthy condition with a valid road fund licence, current MOT if required and with sufficient fuel to move the vehicle to the parking compound and back.
Unless you have booked a self-park product, you will be required to leave your keys.
LARGE VEHICLES:
Any vehicle larger than a regular car parking space, ie Vans, Trucks, Caravans and Trailers etc may not be accepted at certain car parks, or an additional charge may apply. Please contact us at CustomerService@Parking-Compare.com if your vehicle is not a car and/or is larger than a normal car parking space. Car parks reserve the right to refuse entry if you do not follow this procedure.
PAYMENT:
Parking Compare accepts Paypal, Visa, MasterCard and Switch/Maestro. Cheques cannot be accepted as payment.
Parking Compare will accept bookings made using a Parking Compare issued voucher code which entitles the customer to a further discount off the cost of their airport parking.
Parking Compare will also accept a booking from "cashback websites", however Parking Compare will not accept a booking that comes from a "cashback website" and uses a discount code, only the discount will be given unless a prior agreement is made.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES:
Car parking providers reserve the right to charge you locally for additional days parking, airport access fees, for commercial vehicles or for vehicles larger than a standard parking space. Wherever possible information regarding additional fees is available on our website on each car parking provider's information page and throughout the booking process. If you require any information about additional fees please contact Parking Compare before making your booking.
CANCELLATION & AMENDMENTS:
Cancellations must be made in writing via email to CustomerService@Parking-Compare.com and will take effect from the date received by Parking Compare. Cancellations can only be received during office hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30. No cancellations will be accepted verbally.
Amendments can be made by email to CustomerService@Parking-Compare.com or direct with your booking agent.
Parking Compare will endeavour to amend a booking at short notice but no guarantees can be made outside of office hours.
CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENT CHARGES:
All bookings are subject to cancellation charges per car as follows:
- Outside of 24 hours of first parking date: £7.50 administration charge.
- Within 24 hours of first parking date: 100% charge.
- Non Flex or Saver products cannot be cancelled or amended.
- Advance products cannot be cancelled or amended (Advance products indicated by the word "Advance" in the name of the product).
- Where cancellation waiver has been purchased, a booking can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the departure date. A full refund will be given minus the cost of the cancellation waiver.
Any changes made to a booking will be subject to amendment charges as follows:
- Outside of 24 hours of first parking date: any additional cost of parking.
- Non Flex or Saver products cannot be cancelled or amended.
- Advance products cannot be cancelled or amended (Advance products indicated by the word "Advance" in the name of the product).
- Where cancellation waiver has been purchased a booking can be amended at any time prior to the time the parking was originally booked for, only the additional cost of parking (if applicable) will be charged.
- No refunds can be made for unused parking days once a booking has started.
COMPLAINTS:
- If you have any issues regarding your parking you must inform the service provider before you leave the car park or in the case of a meet and greet, before you leave the airport to give them an opportunity to resolve or record the problem.
- Any outstanding, unresolved issues must be sent via email to Complaints@Parking-Compare.com giving as much detail as possible.
- We will always try to liaise between a customer and a car park to help resolve any issues.
LIABILITY:
Parking Compare's total liability to the customer for any claim arising from use of the website is limited to the total cost of the booking.
